7/8/2023 0 Comments Quasar laserThe steak which arrived was definitely not 8 ounces (before cooking) more like 6 ounces. I ordered the 8 ounce sirloin steak - medium rare., with salad. We only ate in the evening once and was disappointed so didn’t try it again. If the plates had been heated this would have helped. Unfortunately parts of the breakfast were usually cold such as the bacon. After that there was fried eggs every morning with bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns. As for food on our first morning there was only scrambled egg and no fried eggs, which was disappointing. But it wasn’t much better in different areas of the hotel. We were in Room 124 and had no WiFi at all. My only complaint with the room was the WiFi which to be honest was pathetic. There were no glasses in the bathroom so we got some from reception who said they usually only leave them in a superior room (yes thought that was strange). There was plenty of space and enough drawers and hanging space to hang enough clothes for 4 nights. Large bed that was very comfortable the room was clean, if it hadn’t been I wouldn’t of stayed in there. ![]() □įirstly our room was not a superior room but it was lovely. I wish every hotel was Jury's Inn Swindon caliber. My only complaint is that the room did not have a mini-fridge or microwave, which would have been extremely convenient for us, but we were able to eat just fine between the food delivery apps available and the hotel restaurant. The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious, as was every meal we had from the restaurant. It's centrally located on many major bus lines and is a short walk from the bus station. Especially old town Swindon, just up the street from the hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view of Swindon, which is a charming town. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude and I certainly hope their supervisors recognize the amazing staff they are so fortunate to have. The two ladies went above and beyond their usual work duties without any hesitation. I didn't catch anyone's name, but I wanted to especially thank two members of staff who helped me with my mother when she fell very ill and needed to go to the emergency room. The staff were all extremely supportive and kind given our unfortunate situation. Jury's became our home away from home and couldn't have been better. ![]() Due to a medical emergency and then us both falling ill, our two day stay turned into a seven day one.
